Meet Ruchika and Alexander. Ruchika is Australian-born to Indian parents and now lives in Nanjing. She is 8 years old. Alexander is 17 years old and is Dutch, but has lived in Canada before moving to China. On this day, I rode the bus to school and sat by this unlikely pair as they each listened to one ear bud from Ruchika's ipod. I love how kids here easily "connect" with others.
