More Beijing

During our visit to Beijing, we spent a morning at the Summer Palace, a large park on the edge of the city built for royalty long ago. It reminded me of Central Park (in NYC, not Roseville!): large and beautiful with lots of activity, but also many secluded areas away from the crowds (once we got off the main paths).
